Team 7316A continues to peform at a high level. As a first year team, The Amigos will have to wait a few more days to see if their skills score can send them to States, but even if they don't qualify, it can't overshadow their accomplishments. Namely, the finished 1st overall at Mahoning where they reached the Semifinals

Team 7316B has quickly picked up from where they left off after Turning Point. Qualifying in October, The Team With Labcoats has struggled in competitions recently, yet has won the Design Award in all but one event. They also have won said award at two Signature Events: the Kalahari Classic and Night at the Museum. Only missing out on an award at the Firestone Robotics Qualifier in November, they have a streak of 5 competitions with Design, winning it at NIHF STEM, Pickerington, Kalahari, Night at the Museum, and Lorain. They head to Marion with their third shot at a Worlds Qualification

Team 7316D qualified for States at Mahoning by winning the tournament! Having advanced at all but one competition, Kalahari, they are tied with Team 7316E for second-most times advancing among all FHS teams. The Dino Nuggets began their campaign with a 2-4-1 competition, but still advanced. In their next event, they finished 4th overall and won the Inspire Award. Despite mid-season struggles, they still found themselves in the Round-Of-16 in every event except for Kalahari. By winning Mahoning, Team 7316D secured their spot at the State Championship in March, and will look to continue their success in staying in the game after the alliance selecting, and could vie for the Tournament Semifinalist Award.

Team 7316E has been one of the most dominant teams not just from Firestone, but in Ohio. Only finishing outside the top-15 twice, they have won two Excellence Awards and have played in the finals twice. Eggs 'N Bacon will be one of two Firestone teams eligible for the Excellence Award at the State Championship. With their best events at Firestone and Mahoning, they have a great resume behind them as well

FBI will go into Marion as one of two Firestone Teams eligible for the Excellence Award, and one of four eligible for Design.

xcalibur

Team 7316X has been one of FHS's strongest teams this season. Winning four awards, Xcalibur will head to States with the second-highest total from Firestone. They qualified at the Firestone Robotics Qualifier by winning Design, then proved themselves worthy of that distinction by winning it again at Mahoning and Highland, with them also taking home the Judges' Award at Lorain. With the most competitions out of any Firestone Team, they will look to have their best day this season on March 7th.
