WHAT DOES ROBOTICS MEAN TO US?

Robotics is a place to have fun, but is also a great opportunity to learn about how things interact with each other. We learn how to go from step one, just an idea or problem, and create something to solve it.
It's really fun along the way, you learn how to work with people and make long lasting relationships.

     It's really a great experience. "

To me, robotics is a place of new experiences with familiar people, and even meeting new people! Just make sure to never be afraid to ask questions! "

TO PUT IT SIMPLY, ROBOTICS IS A PLACE FOR US TO BE OURSELVES.

For many here in Firestone Robotics, engineering club is like a second home for us. Countless students try to spend as much time as possible in room 114; whether it it is to catch up on the robot's development, socialize with their team, or just flat plan designs for the robot.

Here at the Firestone Community Learning Center, we have a very specific motto - "Success is our tradition." Students of the Project Lead the Way program and Robotics Club take that to a whole new level. With countless students going on to join the workforce as thoughtful and analytical inventors of the future, we live up to our motto with pride!

WHAT IS OUR MISSION?

Our mission is to enrich each other and the community through the use of our outreach projects such as the Cardboard Boat Races, the Balsawood Bridges, Fruit Frenzy, and obviously, competitive robotics games.

WHO STARTED ROBOTICS CLUB?

The Firestone Robotics Club was started back in late 2011 when a group of close friends from Mr. Spak's Principles of Engineering class banded together with a common interest; robotics.
