Welcome to the Firestone Robotics website! We are a group of individuals with a similar mindset; think, create, destroy, and repeat.
We compete in VEX Robotics tournaments all across the state every year and work our hardest to create not only decent robots but also knowledgeable students and leaders of the future.
The club is lead by the club president, Jared Borodkin, and our advisor Dan Spak, as well as the hundreds of helpful parents and volunteers.
We can't wait to compete during this 2018 - 2019 season and hope to see everyone at worlds this year!

WHAT IS ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT AND DESIGN?
E.D.D.
Engineering Development and Design is considered the capstone of the Project Lead the Way program. In this class, you will learn to apply all previously learned topics and apply them to your final project and your future. This class is dedicated to it's students, ensuring that they achieve their full potentials. Because of this, this class is only open to seniors and the points are based on finding and applying to scholarships and schools.

"The knowledge and skills students acquire throughout PLTW Engineering come together in EDD as they identify an issue and then research, design, and test a solution, ultimately presenting their solution to a panel of engineers. Students apply the professional skills they have developed to document a design process to standards, completing EDD ready to take on any post-secondary program or career."
